Ebay businesses are supposedly not too hard to get going, and it would leave you time with your kids. It might stress you out time to time though, just like owning any other business,

Take a short course in web design. you can offer it on ebay or advertise pamphlets in the post. Make no mistake it can really earn some good income.
Start a scrapbooking venture and make your home youre business. Sell them goods and have a social life aswell.make friends and money.
Hire a few people and start a garden service in your neighborhood.
Sew items of clothing and sell it.Try novelties.

What are you good at? If you have design experience you could design fliers or posters. If you write well then you could freelance.
Think about what you are good at and then think how you can turn that into money.
