Treo asked: I work part time and I’m a part time law student. I have to spend large quantities of time at home studying, and my employer won’t give me any additional hours at work. The economy here in Michigan is the worst in the country, so I’m afraid if I quit my job and try to get a new one I’ll end up unemployed for months because jobs here are VERY scarce. Anyway, I thought about trying to get a second “real job” maybe an extra day and a half per week, but I live in a rural area that is a considerable distance from most civilization, and with gas at $3.25 a gallon out here, plus state, federal, and town income taxes, and a very light workload, I calculated out that I would pretty much be working for free. Given all of this, and since I often have to stay at home to study anyway, is there anything I can do working from home just to supplement my income? Does anyone know of anything just to make a few extra dollars to help pay the bills? Something legal and NOT a scam?
